Platform: People with Hearing Loss
Hearing loss is a unique disability in itself because it encompasses all different levels
of hearing and affects people of all ages. My goal for this platform is to assist local
agencies, such as the Deaf Center, in helping people with hearing losses, promoting
programs that encourage the social interaction of the hard of haring, and helping to raise
funds for these organizations. Some of the activities I look forward to doing this next
year are: talking to children in schools about Hearing Losses, assisting the elderly with
hearing losses, and initiating a bimonthly activity for the children of the Deaf
Community.
